Sorry guys for the long overdue update of my Taipei trip part 2. Have been super busy =(

After the breakfast, we went to check out the nearby.

Their neighborhood police station.

A shop that sells idol stuffs. 

And then we came across this club with this interesting poster. 

The famous Temple at XiMenDing.

Finally get to check-in to our hotel!!

Queen Size Bed. 

A comfortable sofa with the coffee table for me to stretch out my legs lol FYI the TV has two channel that shows Japanese AV but censored ones. =(  Basically, this is a motel rather then a decent hotel. Great for honeymoon or couple. 

Their so-call mini bar. Quite disappointing but they have more variety in the tea & coffee selections. I apologize for no pictures on that. 

The bathroom + toilet. The view is so nice!! 

Our Jacuzzi tub. The TV also got the Japanese AV lol. 

Overall a pleasant stay! 5 minutes walk to Xi Men Ding shopping area & 3 minutes walk to the train station. The receptionist are extremely helpful and polite just that you gotta hand in your room card if you are going out. Breakfast selection very limited. Will recommend this hotel to people who are on honeymoon or couple.

FlySCOOT: TAIPEI (PART 1)

2 huge luggage but never exceed 30kg we bought. LOL

FLYSCOOT. Got the tickets at a SUPER SALE period. 

Because is cheap.. the flight timing also unique. Midnight 1am =D Look how empty it was. 

YES THIS IS MY BF. He has been dreaming about becoming an F1 racer. 

My flight with SCOOT is pleasant  The plane itself is bigger than all the budget airlines and the air steward//stewardess never fails to put a smile on their face no matter what. AND NOT RUDE. =DD I'm looking forward to FLY with them again. =)))

The flight is about 4 1/2 hrs from Singapore --> Tao Yuan Airport. Reached roughly around 5.25AM. The clearance at the immigration is very fast despite the long queue. Then after collecting the luggages. we gotta figure our way to our HOTEL. Daddy insist that since we are here, we should take their THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail). Not an issue because I did some homework before hand. =D It's easy to find your way to the bus station, just follow the signboard will lead you there.

LOOK for UBUS counter and buy the shuttle bus tickets which cost only NT$30 (S$1.30). Trip is about 15mins.

TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM SINGAPORE.

Whatever you name it, you can find it here. Most of the 7-11 here in Taipei opens 24HRS daily.

Standard seats tickets around NT$160 (S$8) is good enough. Actually I told my BF to get business class ones (S$15) but he said NO. FINE.

THSR. Like the Bullet Train in Japan but slightly slower.

Luckily we didn't get the business class seats tickets coz it's about the same! AND .. it's luggage friendly + clean + spacious !! 

After alight at the Taipei Main Station, we walked over to their Metro Train (MRT). Everything is easy to figure.. just that... It's not luggage friendly anymore. If you have a heavier luggage... god bless. 

Finally made it to our hotel which is located at Xi Men Ding. The whole journey took about 1.5 HRS. Pictures of my room at a later part because we reached the place kinda early in the morning. Overall was smooth and easy to find.

BREAKFAST TIME (Eating journey starts .....)

Noticed that the shops at Taipei doesn't open so early! They start work around 11pm / 12pm. We can hardly find places to have breakfast =( 

First meal of the day at Taipei! "Zhong He Mien" Located somewhere at the ally that is near our hotel. This is recommended by the hotel receptionist.

OK! I'm going to continue my Part II other day.
